Well I haven't been on my blog in a while but I am back with a bang! I am going to discuss the topic of school uniforms. According to Wikipedia, a school uniform is "an outfit- a set of standardized clothes- worn primarily for an educational institution."  If your school has a uniform, you are not alone. The are a lot of schools who require a uniform and that number is growing. In 2007–08, about 18 percent of public school principals reported that their school required students to wear uniforms. In 1999–2000, the percentage of principals who reported that their school required students to wear uniforms was 12 percent. ( I am sorry that I could not get a more recent statistic) Now that you have basic background information I will write my arguements for both sides in my next to blogs (expect in in the next couple weeks- I am currently doing research)
